2012 sees the eleventh running of Rally of the Midlands. The event continues to evolve, being based in the middle of England (around Hinckley and Nuneaton), in close proximity to the motorway network, offering a compact yet challenging rally, typically on smooth tarmac. A number of venues are used including fast and open stages at MIRA with tighter, more technically challenging tests at local stately homes and military base with centralised servicing and secure overnight parking.
The event is a qualifying round of the following championships:
• 2012 REIS Get Connected MSA Asphalt Rally Championship
• AWMMC Nicky Grist - Heart of England Rally Championship
• Fuchs Titan Race ANCC Stage Rally Championship 2012
• 2012 Royal Air Force Motorsports Association Rally Championship
